Review | 364 Days a Year by Sarah Riad

Rating: 5/5 stars

You know the book that makes you want to scream at the top of your lungs for everyone to read it? Yeah, that’s this one.

364 Days a Year took me by complete surprise. I wasn’t expecting to feel such a strong connection with the characters, but that’s exactly what happened. It’s rare that I find a book I haven’t read before. As a whole, it’s always different. But usually, I’ll find little bits and pieces that remind me of another book. This book was completely different than anything I’ve ever read.

“No matter how many times you die, you never get used to it.”

Imagine being given 364 days to live a life that’s not your own. But on day 365, you wake in a different body than before. Imagine trying year after year to figure out why it’s happening to you, only for it to happen again and again. Imagine living so long in this cycle that you forget who you really are.

I know, right?

I couldn’t put this book down. I read it while cooking, I read it the moment I woke up. I needed an ending that surprised me as much as the book itself did. And man, did Riad deliver. The first chapter had my heart thumping with excitement, but that epilogue! I guess you’ll just have to read it and find out for yourself.
