Best Book Read So Far in 2018
Definitely The Smallest Part by Amy Harmon. This book didn’t have a dull moment and the story was so unique!
Black Bullet by L. D. Rose was the PERFECT sequel! Releasing the Demons was an amazing introduction to this phenomenal world the author created, but Black Bullet was action-packed and impossible to put down.
New Release You Have Not Read Yet
There are so many, but Rebecca Jenshak’s Electric Blue Love is one I can’t wait to dive into.
Most Anticipated Read of 2018 That Hasn’t Come Out Yet
Colleen Hoover’s All Your Perfects. It’s been HIGHLY anticipated, but the longer I wait for it, the more my interest fades. I guess we’ll see!
Jane Harper’s Force of Nature disappointed me BIG TIME. I loved The Dry, the first book in the series. It was so well-written. This one was very slow and it felt as if nothing was happening.
The Law of Moses by Amy Harmon surprised me. I had it sitting on my kindle for over a year. I’m not sure why I waited as long as I did, but it was a five-star-read from the very first page. AMAZING!
Favorite New To Me Author
Hands-down, Trilina Pucci. I have been struggling this year with romance, the genre in general. They’ve been blending together; the same story being told repeatedly but shown with different book covers. So, when I read Come Back to Me I was blown away. I mean, I love suspense, so I was hooked instantly, but the romance was equally as important and that series just spoke to me.
Newest Fictional Crush
Derrick from Kelsie Rae’s Breezy. AH! Just read it, you’ll understand.
Book That Made You Cry
The Sharp Knife of a Short Life by Sarah Riad. I mean, the synopsis tells you what to expect. The entire book leads you to…the end, but I was a mess after reading it.
Book That Made You Happy
Say You’re Sorry by Melinda Leigh made me insanely happy. I know, that’s creepy as hell right? HA! But I was happy that I finally found a Mystery/Thriller series to enjoy!
Most Beautiful Book You Bought
Pas De Deux by Lynn Turner. Beautiful cover, beautiful story. Read it.
Books You Have to Read in the Rest of 2018
I want to read so many more books this year. I am dying to begin Tiffany Reisz’s The Original Sinners Series. You can see the rest of my summer reading list here!
I can’t wait to see your Mid Year Freak Out post!!
